VILLAIN BACKSTORY
Have you ever had someone pretend to be you just to claim your Grab delivery? Or met someone who brought +10 people to an event when they were told to only bring a +1? Maybe you’ve had an encounter with someone in a BMW that cut you off with no turn signal, because they have no regard for road safety. That’s the essence of SCUMLORD.
SCUMLORD has the uncanny ability to be in the right place at the right time to make the absolute worst decision at your expense. However, at the heart of it, his true power is yielding positive fortunes from making bad decisions, because he’s learnt that good decisions will ultimately always lead to him getting burnt.
SCUMLORD was doomed from birth. Born under a string of bad luck tropes, he tried desperately to be a good person in his youth only to realise it always got him the short end of the stick. That is, until one fateful day, a single burger changed the course of his entire life.
Since then, with no regard for society, his quick ascent into supervillain scumbaggery has been, as the young’uns say—a vibe (no 🧢).
