VILLAIN BACKSTORY:
EVA is an entity that first surfaced on the dark web around the late 90s. A transient presence, she exists through electronics both online and offline and no one has seen her true form to date. Going through an existential crisis, she steals memories and switches identities trying to understand what she wants to be.
Her attacks are not fatal but survivors suffer from burn scars and ongoing disabilities like seizures and permanent memory loss. Despite this, EVA believes that the world is a better place with her in it. For what is a world without a supervillain? A dull one.
